“All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.”

I am sure you have heard of consistency. We all know it is important. There are also many ways to implement it. For example, having your messaging consistent is very important. Design consistency is another implementation. What we will be tackling today are consistent actions.
Show up every single day and do the thing that you think matters. This is usually your mission or vision. The goal here is to not worry too much about results. The results will come if you put in the work.
Execution is the name of the game. Pick a direction and adjust as you go. It is better to go in a direction that is a bit bumpy or rough instead of sitting idle. There might be mistakes made or lessons to learn that can improve upon your mission. Something might happen to help you get to your vision.
Consistency will build trust if you let it. If you said you are going to do something and do it, people will trust you. Trust is hard to gain and easy to lose.
This is why I believe in picking a direction and executing. That is also why I love the idea of starting in the smallest and simplest way you can. This allows for only a small commitment that will grow results over time.
I am even practicing this topic as you read this. This whole weekly writing is my small commitment to show up and do something consistently. I keep it as simple as possible to reduce friction. I picked a direction and am adjusting as I go.
Some things to think about:
What is the simplest version of what you want to do? What does that look like?
Pick a direction. It may not be perfect but at least there is execution to learn and grow from.
Don’t worry too much about the results. They will come over time.
